How do I get started?
Some categories will require a few hours volunteering under other categories before being allowed to participate in another.
1. Attend an Open House
Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to attend an Open House. It is not required. The purpose of our Open House is to let people know about our organization and what it is like to be a volunteer. We hold Open House at the shelter the second and last Saturday of each month at 3 pm. It helps people determine if they want to volunteer.
